Classes at Creativity

In response to our customers' requests, we are now holding classes which are proving to be very popular. Here are details of all the different classes, please check the calendar for times and dates. All materials are provided and included in the price of the class, other than your basic craft tools which you will need to bring with you, details given under each class description. Classes are for a minimum of two people and a maximum of four and booking is essential. We can also schedule classes for groups of friends on specific dates if necessary. We shall be adding new classes during the year so check back often to see if any of them interest you.

	3D DECOUPAGE New Come and learn this very popular cardmaking technique. In the class we shall tackle a simple as well as a more intricate design. You will need to bring: Craft mat, sharp scissors and craft knife, craft tweezers.
	SCRAPMAGIC New This technique uses a template to achieve the attractive result shown in the photo. It is a great way to use up all your small pieces of decorative paper and coloured card, as well as all the pretty embellishments you have in your craft box. Time permitting we shall make 2 cards in this class - card and paper included and a few embellishments to get you started. You will need to bring: Craft mat, scissors and sharp craft knife and propelling pencil
	USING RIBBONS IN CARDMAKING New At this class we shall use several different types of ribbon to achieve stunning finishing touches to your cardmaking projects. Learn how to combine stamping, brads and punches with ribbons. You will go away with at least THREE cards that you have made during the class. You will need to bring: Craft mat, scissors and craft knife
	EXPLODING BOX New Come to this class and learn how to make this stunning little box with which to show off your favourite photos. We shall be using pretty background papers, stamps and punches to decorate your box. All materials provided, except photos! You can either bring your photographs (20 photos measuring approx. 4cm x 5cm) and insert them if we have time during the class or add them later at home. You will need to bring: Craft mat, ruler, scissors, scoring board. (Personal paper trimmer useful if you have one)
	IRIS FOLDING New Come and learn the very therapeutic craft of iris folding and at the same time create beautiful cards. You will be amazed at the results. Time permitting, we shall make 2 cards at this class. You will need to bring: Craft mat, scissors and craft knife.
	TEABAG FOLDING New By popular request, we have introduced a teabag folding class. You will learn a variety of folds, including, hopefully, some new folding techniques which you haven't tried before! You will need to bring: Craft mat, bone folder, scissors and craft knife.
	MAKING MEN'S CARDS WITH LAYER PEEL OFFS These peel offs come in two different designs and many stunning colours. Come and learn how to mix and match the layers to make super cards for men. You will need to bring: Craft mat, scissors, craft knife and tweezers.
	JAPANESE CARDS In this class we shall use authentic Japanese papers and Mizuhiki Cords and you will learn how to fold a Kimono and make an ornamental knot as embellishments for all your oriental cards. You will need to bring: Craft mat, scissors, craft knife.
	MEDALLION STYLE LAYER PEEL OFFS Learn how to mix and match these new glitter peel offs combined with acetate to create very attractive greetings cards, appropriate for any occasion, especially weddings, anniversaries and special birthdays. As usual, we shall make at least two cards. You will need to bring: Craft mat, scissors, craft knife and tweezers.
	"FRAME" CARDS Another papercrafting technique which produces stunning results, using 12"x12" papers and combined with stamped images, decoupage elements or even teabag folding. You will need to bring: Craft mat, scissors, craft knife, ruler and pencil.
	BOOKATRIX CARD Learn to make these lovely "book" cards using the Bookatrix embossing board from Keepsake Crafts. You will need to bring: Craft mat, scissors and/or craft knife. Please bring your embossing board and ball tool if you have one already
	FAN CARD Learn to make these beautiful fan cards using the Elegance and Fantasy embossing board from Keepsake Crafts. You will need to bring: Craft mat, scissors and/or craft knife. Please bring your embossing board and ball tool if you have one already
	EMBROIDERY PEEL OFF CARDS These super new peel off stickers, used with gorgeous metallic threads make very pretty cards and there are many designs to choose from. No stitching experience required! You will need to bring: Pricking Tool, craft mat, scissors and craft knife
	BASIC RUBBER STAMPING & EMBOSSING TECHNIQUES If you have not yet experimented with rubber stamping, come and find out a wealth of information to help you get started. Take advantage of the opportunity to try out different stamps, inks and embossing powders. You will need to bring: Craft mat, scissors and/or craft knife and heat gun (if you have one - not essential)
	RESIST STAMPING AND CREATING BACKGROUNDS Come and learn all about Resist Stamping as well as how to create stunning backgrounds using ink pads, stamps and direct-to-paper and sponging techniques. You will need to bring: Craft mat, scissors.
	3D PEEL OFF CARDS These cards are really effective and very easy to make (once you know how!). You will go home with three cards - and you will definitely want to make some more! You will need to bring: Craft mat, scissors, craft knife and tweezers.
	"STAR" MEDALLION CARDS This spectacular card will be very popular with anyone who is lucky enough to receive it! Come along to the class and learn the technique and take away a beautiful card that you have made yourself. You will need to bring: Craft mat, scissors and/or craft knife and scoring board (if you have one)
	"STAR" POP OUT CARDS In this class you will learn to make a really special card in the form of a star, combining various cardmaking techniques. This is a very elaborate card and you will be delighted with the results. You will need to bring: Craft mat, scissors and/or craft knife and scoring board. Also the Romance embossing board if you have one (not essential)
